Baby!

Trena and Eliana came last Thursday because of the Hurricane Ike. They stayed six days and the baby loved me. Then she had to leave, and I was so sad.

Light and Fluffy Biscuits

Last night I helped Mom make supper. I made "biscuits from scrap". It was fun. Mom said that they are the most beautiful biscuits she has seen and she can't make them that well. I think Trena liked them because she ate three of them.

Wax in the Carpet

During the ice storm in December, we were sitting around our last big candle on the floor. We had a big sturdy paper plate under it. But, we didn't realize because there was not much light that the wax had gone over the sides, through the blanket we were sitting on and into the carpet. We had a spot of wax on both of them about the size of a baseball. We couldn't get it out. Then, my aunt Trena came to town. She thought she heard somewhere and then doublechecked on the Internet that you could get it out with an iron and a brown paper sack. We were surprised when it all came out! It took some work, and I did it. Mom said that Trena and I could become the next "Heloise", but I don't even know who that is.

Kevin and Trena and Eliana Came to Visit

I finally got to meet my cousin, Eliana. And every time I played with her, she got my glasses so I had to put them up. She liked me reading to her. I read Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? I like Eliana because she is loveable and sweet. I didn't want her to go home. You should meet her.
