My Favorite Cat

My favorite cat is named Angel. She

is cute. I bought her a collar with a bell, and she likes it very much. She likes me very much, too. We sleep together (when Dad forgets to get her out of my bed and put her out), and she is friends with my other cat, Ginger (who I also like to sleep with).

In school, we made our own snowglobes! I collect snowglobes, so this was a great project. I made a snowman out of clay and let it dry. Then, I glued it to the lid of a baby food jar (I had eaten the baby food in there 7 years ago!). Next, I put water and coconut in it and turned it upside down.

Homeschool Bowling!

Today, we went to sign up for our Spring homeschool classes. I am so excited because I get to take Mushim-Do (it is like karate) and Conrad and I have been begging for so long to take something like that. And, I get to take a class called "Sweet Chocolate" about the history of chocolate and cocoa beans. Do you wonder why I would like this class? :-) While my mom was signing up people for her Spanish classes that she is going to teach, the kids got to go bowling. We played three games, and I lost all of them, but I had fun!

While Mom and Conrad were gone, Dad and I got out my new experiments kit that I got for Christmas. Mom and Dad say that I am very curious, and I love to take things apart to see how they work (they don't like that very much). Dad and I made a radio, made electricity so that a pinwheel would go around, a telegraph clicker, and made a lightbulb light up. It was cool!

Christmas at Home!

We stayed home on Christmas. Conrad and I got up at 4:30 in the morning! We opened presents and then had lunch. Dad smoked a ham in the smoker and I ate so much! Mom made scalloped potatoes, cornbake, green beans, rolls, and pumpkin pie. Conrad got me a dart rifle and we have been playing dart tag every day since Christmas.
